Chiropractic adjustment (also known as spinal manipulation) is the way in which a trained chiropractor restores proper function to your body by locating and adjusting a musculoskeletal area of the body that is functioning improperly. This can be done by using their hands or a small instrument to bring manipulation to the vertebrae. The goals are to correct structural alignment, improve your body’s physical function and restore range of motion. No special preparation is required before a chiropractic adjustment.
Instead of treating the symptoms of the disease, chiropractic adjustments are given to correct the subluxation so that normal body functions may take place. This is done by the use of a chiropractor’s hands on your back and/or by a small instrument to gently line up the vertebrae in their natural position. This process may take weeks or months depending on the amount of misalignment. The nerve supply may then be restored throughout the body, and healing can take place. As your body heals, the symptoms begin to diminish. Chiropractic adjustments have proven to be safe and effective by a skilled professional.
Here at Complete Chiropractic & Rehab LLC we are proud to offer dry needling services! Dry needling aims to address neuromuscular conditions, relieve pain, and improve range of motion. During your scheduled appointment, we will insert a small needle into specified areas of your body depending on your unique and individual needs.
Traditional Chinese medicine is based on the philosophy that the universe and the body are opposing forces. The constant flow of energy keeps them balanced. When the flow of energy is blocked, illness will occur. Dry needling therapy will release blocked energy, resolve the pain, and improve sleep, digestive functions, and sense of well-being.
Dry needling follows evidence-based guidelines, recommended point locations, and dosages for treatment of specific conditions. Our goal is to improve pain control and reduce muscle tension through this technique.
Our qualified and helpful staff will work with you to ensure that you are receiving all of the amazing benefits from dry needling. We welcome questions about the therapy and how it can effectively reduce symptoms of inflammation, pain, poor digestion, sleeplessness, and more!
Massage therapy is the manual manipulation of soft body tissues (muscle, connective tissue, tendons and ligaments) to enhance a person’s health and well-being. There are many types of massage therapy methods (also called modalities). People seek massage therapy for a variety of reasons; for example, to reduce stress and anxiety, to relax muscles, to rehabilitate injuries, to reduce pain and to promote overall health and wellness.
Massage therapy has been growing in popularity among chiropractors. Many chiropractors have their “in-house” massage therapist to work alongside. The benefits of working together on musculoskeletal issues not only quickens the treatment time but also has longer lasting effects. While chiropractors focus more on the musculoskeletal issues, massage therapists can assist with soft tissue and muscle issues.
Spinal decompression involves stretching the spine while using a traction table. The goal is to relieve back pain and/or leg pain. Our chiropractor also works to promote an optimal healing environment for bulging, degenerated, or herniated discs.
Spinal decompression is a type of therapy applied to the spine that brings patients many benefits. First, we attempt to create a negative intradiscal pressure to promote retraction or re-positioning of the herniated or bulging disc material. Secondly, we create a lower pressure in the disc that will cause an influx of healing nutrients as well as other substances into the disc.
Our entire staff is dedicated to our patients. We want you to be able to live pain-free (and quickly). We never just look at the problem while trying to mask the pain. Instead, we want to get to the bottom of your spinal issues so that you never feel this way again. Our office provides a calming atmosphere so you are sure to feel comfortable while your body is trying to heal.
Complete Chiropractic & Rehab LLC offers ultrasound therapy to minimize muscle pain and movement dysfunction. It is part of the treatment process that will be evaluated by Complete Chiropractic & Rehab LLC upon your initial visit. Ultrasound therapy has proven results to help with various conditions you might suffer from. It is a helpful device to correct spinal joint misalignments and restore the nervous system to its optimal function.

TurboSonic is the latest technological advance in treatment of muscle strengthening , bone density building and postural awareness all of which are essential to complete spinal and extremity healing. The Turbo Sonic provides vibration force to tissue in a unique manner in where a NON MECHANICAL vibration stress is introduced to your entire spine, it does this with the use of sound waves that will penetrate muscle and force the body to respond to this stress increasing muscle tone, bone growth and postural awareness. In the years previous Olympic games the Olympiads of Korea and Japan focused on this devise a central core to the training for their athletes and the results go unchallenged as evident in their unusually high number of Gold metals. Call today to schedule your complimentary trial of the TurboSonic X7.
Kinesiology is the science of human movement. Kinesiology Tape uses a uniquely designed tape for treatment of:
- muscular disorders
- pain relief
- joint support
- lymph drainage
- It works by lifting the skin and relieving pressure on pain transmitters. It supports without restriction and enhances circulation.
It is water resisitant and latex free.
Many sports injuries respond well to kinesiology tape, allowing the athlete to remain active, however most applications are actually non-athletic. Once applied, it can be worn up to four days.
Electrical Muscle Stimulation
Stimulation can be a fantastic tool to assist you in feeling better. When applied to tissue, electric currents create thermal, physiological, and chemical responses. The currents also alter pain impulses.
We use interferential stimulation the most. Two channels of electrical stimulation create a third current that penetrates the affected tissues with little resistance. This stimulation will help control the pain and muscle contractions.
There are many benefits of electrical stimulation. Many of our patients say that it helps reduce edema as well as the swelling caused by fluid in the body’s tissues.
Our entire staff is dedicated to assisting you in your healing process. We focus on the root of the problem instead of covering it up with medication. By doing this, we are able to help solve the problem so that you are not in any pain anymore. Our number one goal is to assist you. We are always available to answer any questions that you have.
If you are experiencing pain, always let us know so that we can gently work around it and ensure that your sessions are beneficial and help in the healing process. We are always here for you.
Interferential muscle stimulation is a form of electrical therapy used to relieve pain, accelerate the healing process, and stimulate deep-lying muscle tissue. This treatment can be beneficial for patients with circulatory and muscular disorders, stiffness of joints, and inflammation.Benefits of Interferential Muscle Stimulation
- Accelerated Healing
- Improved Circulation
- Pain Relief
- Reduction in Swelling and Inflammation
Some studies have shown that areas of muscle weakness such as the pelvic floor muscles can also be strengthened and stimulated by the use of interferential muscle stimulation. How does Interferential Muscle Stimulation work?During treatment, two different frequencies work together to successfully stimulate larger and deeper muscle fibers. These impulses are not painful at all, but some patients do report a slight tingling sensation. Is Interferential Stimulation like TENS Therapy? Though the idea is the treatments are similar, interferential muscle stimulation is a deeper form of electric therapy as the frequency is much higher than those released by a TENS unit allowing the energy to reach deeply into the muscles for a better sense of relief. For patients who are recovering from injuries or experiencing chronic pain and/or discomfort from musculoskeletal conditions, interferential muscle stimulation may be right for you. For more information on interferential muscle stimulation or to schedule a consultation, contact our office at (262) 354-0655.
Rehabilitation exercise therapy and therapeutic activities – are procedures that are used to induce tissue regeneration after a traumatic injury. Because of the combination of these treatment options, our patients are back to living healthy and active lives in record time!
It is important to understand that often times where the pain presents is not the area that needs to be treated. The pain may be due to that area compensating and being over-worked from another area not pulling its weight. Our rehabilitation program includes strength, flexibility and agility training as well as training focused on coordination of body parts and motion to prepare the individual to return to full participation.
Workplace injuries don’t only occur during traumatic slips and falls at work but are more often than not, the result of repetitive movements, and caused by doing the physical demands required of your job over an extended period of time. These types of workplace injuries are all too common in today’s workforce and are best identified by their symptoms.
- Lower back pain
- Shoulder pain
- Carpal tunnel and hand pain
- Disc injuries
- Sciatica (pain caused by the sciatic nerve in your lower back and legs)
- Joint pain
Being examined by a chiropractor is often the first step in identifying and treating a workplace injury through non-invasive care which is why Complete Chiropractic & Rehab LLC conducts thorough examinations during his first session with new patients in order to better assess their injury. Since workplace injuries usually develop over time, it’s important to share all the symptoms you may be experiencing so we can identify the root cause.
